Stephanie R. Holan is the founding member of Holan Law, PLLC. Stephanie practices Family

Law, Criminal Defense, and Education Law. Ms. Holan received her Bachelor of Science

Degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Applied Learning and Development, her

Master’s Degree in Education from Lamar University, and received her Juris Doctorate from

Texas A&M University School of Law.

Stephanie is a zealous advocate for women and for women’s rights. In addition to running her

own practice, Stephanie travels around the United States giving talks on Empowering Women in

Law and the Workplace. Stephanie previously served on The State Bar of Texas Women in the

Law Committee for a three-year term.

Prior to being an attorney, Stephanie was a respected Texas State Board of Education Certified

teacher. Stephanie taught in Highland Park, ISD, Lovejoy ISD, and Richardson ISD. Stephanie

worked to write curriculum in her school districts and sat on the State panel that reviewed and

approved the standardized testing given across the State of Texas.

Stephanie is also a single mother to one daughter, Hallie. Hallie is twenty-years old and is a

senior in college. In her spare time, Stephanie hangs out with her two Toy-Yorkies; Maggie and

Hazel.

Stephanie has been a Top-Rated Lawyer by Super Lawyers in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

She was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2023 & 2024, and was rated one of the

2024 Top Women Attorneys in Texas as published by Texas Monthly. Stephanie is a member

of The Texas Bar College, the Austin Bar Association, and Junior League Austin.
